1 cup sugar
½ cup butter or margarine
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
3 shakes of cinnamon
3 tbsp. Vermont Nut Free Cocoa
1 ½ tsp. baking powder
1 ½ cup flour
Directions:
Directions:
First wash your hands. Mix together the sugar and butter.
Add the egg and vanilla and mix well. Mix in the cocoa, cinnamon, and baking powder and stir well. Finally carefully add the flour and mix it all up. Taste the cookie dough to make sure it is OK. Put spoonfuls of cookie dough on a buttered cookie pan and gently place a few candy stars on the top of each cookie. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Use the timer so you don’t burn the cookies.
