1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract (clear)
1/2 teaspoon Almond Extract (clear)
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400ºF. In mixing bowl, cream butter with sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and extracts, Mix flour, baking powder and salt; add to butter mixture 1 cup at a time, mixing after each addition. Divide dough into 2 balls. On a floured surface, roll each ball into circle approximately 12 inch wide and 1/8 inch thick. Dip cookie cutter in flour before each use. Bake cookies on ungreased cookie sheet 6 - 7 minutes or until cookies are lightly browned.

When storing cookie dough in refrigerator, store in air tight container or zip-lock bag. When preparing to use cookie dough, Allow cookie dough to warm, before attempting to roll cookie dough for cutting.
