"When I'm at a Chinese restaurant having a hard time with chopsticks, I always hope that there's a Chinese kid at an American restaurant somewhere who's struggling mightily with a fork."--Rick Budinich
This recipe for My Fluffy Frosting, by Jo-Ann Little, is from The DeBaise Family Cookbook,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
1 egg white 1 cup sugar 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar 1/2 cup boiling water 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Beat egg white and cream of tartar in small bowl. In the meantime, bring sugar & water to boiling point. Add this to the egg whites and continue beating, first on medium speed & then faster until thick consistency.
Tastes like marshmallow. Nice on Tomato Soup Cake. Can add food coloring.
