1 egg white
1 cup sugar
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 cup boiling water
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg white and cream of tartar in small bowl. In the meantime, bring sugar & water to boiling point. Add this to the egg whites and continue beating, first on medium speed & then faster until thick consistency.

Tastes like marshmallow. Nice on Tomato Soup Cake. Can add food coloring.
