2 small acorn squash,
3 cups chopped apples,
2 tbl. butter,
1/2 tsp. salt,
1/4 c. brown sugar,
nutmeg,

Directions:
Directions:
Cut squash in halves and scoop out seeds. Place squash in baking dish with the bottom of the pan covered with a little water. Mix salt, brown sugar and nutmeg with apples, and fill center of squash. Dice butter over the top of the apples. Pour a little water into dish. Cover and bake at 350 for 30 min. or until done.
