3 c. sugar
1 c. vegetable oil
4 eggs
2 c. pumpkin (1 small can)
2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
3 1/2 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first four ingredients together well. Mix remaining dry ingredients together and add to the above. Add 1 c. nuts or raisins. Grease four 1 lb. coffee cans or bake in loaf pans. Fill less than half. Bake at 350 F. for 1 hour.

I normally double the recipe and bake in mini aluminum loaf pans. I get 15 mini loaves and I give them away for Christmas.
