1 3/4 c. sugar
1 c. butter
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 can cherry pie filling
1 tsp. almond

Icing:
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
3 Tbsp. milk
1 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. almond

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating after each addition. Add vanilla. Combine dry ingredients and stir by hand into wet mixture. Spread over 1/2 of batter into lightly greased 10x15 jelly roll pan. Combine almond and pie filling and spread over crust. Drop remaining batter by spoonfuls and lightly spread. (Will not compeletely cover). Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Cut into squares. Combine icing ingredients, beat until smooth and drizzle over still warm squares.
