5 1/2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
4 tsps. baking powder
2 tsps. baking soda
1/2 lb. butter or oleo plus 2 Tbsp. Crisco
3 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Work all together as for pie crust. Add 3 eggs (beaten) to 1 cup sour cream & 1/2 tsp. vanilla. Add liquid to dry ingredients and work together. Work dough gently with hands. Dough will be a bit soft. Add a bit of flour as needed. Brush tops with beaten egg after filling.
Bake 12-15 minutes. 350º - 375º.
