2 c. sugar
c. light corn syrup
c. water
dash of salt
2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine corn syrup, water and dash of salt. Stir in sugar until dissolved. Boil to 240. Slowly pour 1/3 of mixture over stiffly beaten egg white, beating constantly. Cook remaining syrup to 265. Beat syrup mixture into candy mixture and continue beating. When mixture holds its shape when dropped from a spoon, add vanilla. Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.

Note: Beat egg whites as soon as you put the mixture on stove.
