Seven Layered Salad Recipe

1 head of lettuce
1/4 - 1/2 c. chopped onions
1/4 - 1/2 c. chopped celery
1 10 oz. pkg. frozen peas (do not cook)
1 can water chestnuts

Top layer:
2 c. mayonnaise
2 tsp. sugar
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
cooked bacon (crisp) or 1/2 c. bakecos

Layer in order listed.
Mix mayonnaise & sugar and layer on top.
sprinkle Parmesan and bacon on top.
Let set in refrigerator over night.
