4 cups flour
1 heaping cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp baking soda
½ milk
½ tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup shortening

CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
¼ cup butter
1 – 3 oz pkg cream cheese
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups powdered sugar
Add a little milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together the flour, baking powder, soda, & salt. Cut shortening into flour mixture. In another bowl, add sugar, beaten eggs. Mix together. Add ½ cup milk, and 1 tsp vanilla. Mix well. Combine sugar mixture to flour mixture. Mix until smooth. Roll out on a floured surface. Bake at 350° for 8 –10 minutes
