Put the initial sour dough starter in refrigerator for 3 to 5 days. Take out and Feed.

3/4 c. sugar
3 tbsp. instant potatoes
1 c. warm water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix well and add to starter. Let Starter stand out of refrigerator 8 to 12 hours or until bubbly (keep covered with cloth). Remove 1 cup to make bread. Return remaining to starter to refrigerator.

Keep starter in refrigerator 3 to 5 days and feed again. If not making bread after feeding starter throw away 1 cup. But it may be fed 2 to 3 times before using any for bread. This is to avoid depleting your starter.
