8 eggs
4 cups whole milk
2 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla
24 slices day-old bread

Cooking spray

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs, add milk, salt, and vanilla. Mix well. Dip bread into the mixture.

Using a non-stick skillet or griddle, spray for 1 second.

Add bread slices and let cook over a medium heat. Turn only once.

Can be served plain, with butter, sprinkled with powdered sugar, with syrup, with jelly, or with fruit.

Serves 8 with 3 slices each
