6 large apples(Goldens or Johnagolds),
4 medium dill pickles,
1/2 medium sweet onion,
Miracle Whip salad dressing,

Peel and core apples. leave skins on if you like for a little extra color, and vitamins. Dice apples, Pickles and onions and place in a salad bowl. Mix in at least two heaping tbl. Miracle whip so all is covered generously. Cover and store in refrigerator. It's better the second day.

This has been made by my Grandmother and my Mother, and is loved by the family. Many can't get past the combination and won't ever try it. Be brave and give it a try. It is delicious to eat with pork or chicken.
