1/4 c. flour,
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder,
3/4 c. sugar,
1 egg,
1/2 c. chopped peeled apples,
1/2 c. nuts,
1 qt. vanilla ice cream,
3 medium sized chocolate covered toffee bars such as Heath(crushed into pieces),

Preheat oven to 350º. Grease a 9-10 inch pie plate or spray with nonstick cooking spray. Mix flour, baking powder, sugar salt and egg together. Stir in apples and nuts. Place in pie plate and bake for 25-30 min. Cool for 1 hour.

Remove vanilla ice cream from freezer and let sit out for about 10 min. until soft. Fill pie shell with softened ice cream. Sprinkle with crushed toffee bars and place in freezer.
Remove from freezer about 5 min. before serving for easier slicing
