2 cups baking mix
1 cup flour
2 tsp powdered milk
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup water

Combine baking mix, flour, and salt. Mix well. Add enough water to make a soft dough. Knead about 12 times on a cutting board or other clean surface such as a large bowl to make a smooth dough.

Divide into eight equal balls. Pat each ball to about 1/4 inch in thickness. Fry in hot oil for about 3 to 4 minutes until golden brown on both sides (turn once).

Drain on paper towels. Good to serve with many main dishes.
