16 oz. pkg. Original or Cinnamon Oat Squares
2 c. Pecan Pieces
1/2 c. White Corn Syrup
1/2 c. Brown Sugar
1/4 c. Margarine
1 tsp. Vanilla
1/2 tsp. Soda

Directions:
Directions:
Combine oat squares and pecan pieces in a 9" x 13" pan. Combine corn syrup, brown sugar and margarine in a large bowl. Microwave on high for 1 1/2 minutes. Stir. Then microwave 1/2 to 1 1/2 minutes longer until syrup is boiling. Remove from microwave and add soda and vanilla. Pour over oak squares. Stir well. Bake at 250 for 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes. When cool, break into pieces.

When adding soda to syrup, be careful as the soda will foam and could overflow. Syrup is terribly hot, so don't get burned! This is good for the holidays.
