6 apples peeled, cored and sliced,
3/4 c. granulated sugar,
3 tbl. flour,
1/2 tsp. cinnamon,
Dash of salt,
1/2 c. sour cream,
1/2 tsp. vanilla,
1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell,

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together sugar, flour, cinnamon and a dash of salt. Sprinkle part over a layer of apple slices in unbaked pie shell. Add more apples, more sugar mixture until shell is filled. Spread with sour cream mixed with 1/2 tsp. vanilla and rest of sugar mixture. Bake 10 min. at 450º then 35 to 45 min at 350º. Cool, decorate with apple slices.
