5 cups self rising flour
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup shortening
2 cups buttermilk
1 t. baking soda
2 packages yeast, dissolved in 1/4 cup warm water

Directions:
Directions:
Combine dry ingredients. Cut in shortening. Stir in yeast and buttermilk. Roll and cut as desired. Bake on middle rack in 450º oven until golden brown. Dough may be kept in refridge for one week.
