1 1/2 c. flour,
3/4 c. shortening,
1 3/4 c. oatmeal,
3/4 c. brown sugar,
3/4 tsp soda,
pinch salt,
4 c. sliced apples(non juicy)
Directions:
Directions:
Mix all together, except apples, until crumbly. Put 1/2 mixture in shallow greased pan. Place the apples on this layer. sprinkle with nutmeg, cinnamon, 1 c. sugar, 3 tbl. butter. Cover with rest of crumbs. Bake at 375º for 45 min.
