1 1/2 c. sifted cake flour,
1/4 c. cornstarch,
3 tsp. baking powder,
3/4 tsp. salt,
2 tbl. margarine or butter,
1 tbl. grated sharp cheese,
11/2 c. finely diced apples,
1/3 c. milk,
1/3 c. sugar,
1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients, cut in butter and cheese, stir in apples and milk. Knead 1 minute on floured board. Roll 1/4 inch thick and cut into finger lengths 1 inch wide. Fry in hot fat at 375 for 5 min. Drain, roll in sugar and cinnamon.
