2 T. olive oil
1 large onion, chopped
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
2 6 oz. cans tomato paste
2 1 lb. 3 oz. cans whole tomatoes or 5 cups]
2 tsp. sugar
3 tsp. salt
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. oregano
1 clove garlic, minced
1 green pepper, chopped
1/2 cup celery, finely chopped

Directions:

Heat oil and brown onion and garlic lightly. Add meat and break into small pieces. Cook until well browned. Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally to prevent from sticking to the pan. Pour over cooked spaghetti. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese.
