1-1/2 crushed pretzels
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
8 oz. cream cheese
3/4 c. granulated sugar
8 oz. Cool Whip
1 large pkg. (6 oz.) of strawberry or raspberry Jello
2 c. boiling water
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. of frozen strawberries or
raspberries that have been thawed

LAYER ONE:
Mix pretzels, brown sugar, and margarine and spread on bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350º for five minutes. Cool.

LAYER TWO:
Blend together cream cheese and granulated sugar. Fold in Cool Whip. Spread over cooled pretzel crust.

LAYER THREE:
Dissolve Jello in the two cups of hot water, add thawed fruit. Refrigerate this mixture, and when Jello begins to set, spoon over the cheese layer.

Refrigerate salad.
