1 large pkg. cube steak flour 1 can golden mushroom soup 1 can water oil, for frying onion (optional)
Roll steak in flour. Fry steak in a large skillet over medium heat using a small amount of shortening until meat is browned. As soon as meat is browned, add salt and pepper. Add soup and 1 can water. Simmer for 30 minutes or until tender. You may use another can of soup instead of water. Also add onion if you like.
