1 can crushed pineapple (13.5 oz) 3 oz lemon jello 3 oz cherry jello 1 C ginger ale 1 lb can cranberry sauce 1 C chopped apples 8 oz Philadelphia cream cheese 4 oz cool whip 1 t butter Chopped pecans
Drain pineapple and reserve juice. Use the juice and add enough boiling water to equal 1 cup to mix with the jello. Add ginger ale. Let set and gel. Add cranberry sauce, pineapple and apples and toss. Place in Pyrex. TOPPING: Mix softened cream cheese and cool whip with a bit of milk for consistency. Top off with toasted pecans -by mixing pecans with melted butter and baking at 350º for 10 minutes.
This recipe is a Mrs. Hauselman original! Granny said, "it's good, good." It has a really different taste and it's pretty.
