1/2 lb. hamburger meat, browned
1/2 lb. fresh pork sausage, browned
1 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 T. jalapeño peppers, finely chopped
4 eggs
1/4 c. flour
1 1/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. each salt and black pepper
2 4-oz. cans diced green chiles
2 c. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

Brown hamburger and pork sausage in a large skillet, drain excess fat. Add onion, garlic and jalapeños and continue cooking until onions are transparent. In a bowl, combine eggs, flour, milk, salt and black pepper. Mix well. Spread one can of chiles on the bottom of a 1 1/2-quart greased baking dish. Layer first with half of meat mixture on top of chiles, and then one cup of cheese on top of meat. Repeat layers with chiles, meat, cheese. Pour egg mixture on top. Bake in preheated 350º oven for 45 minutes.
