1 cup Crisco (use blocks)
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 cups oatmeal
Directions:
Directions:
First cream shortening, brown sugar, and sugar. Add all other ingredients saving oatmeal for last after dough is well blended. Place spoonfuls of dough on cookie sheet. Bake each batch at 350º for 10 minutes. Makes 5 dozen.
