1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup chili sauce
1 t mustard
1/2 cup Wesson oil
1/2 cup worchestershire sauce
1 T black pepper
1 t paprika
1 t tabasco sauce
1 medium onion
Juice of one lemon mixed with water

I have no idea! I guess you cook the garlic and onion, then mix all the other ingredients into a gravy dish. This sounds like a sauce for beef or chicken.

I found this recipe in Grandmother Ryan's handwriting on a yellowed page torn from a calendar, dated Thursday, September 16, 1954. I was curious about Lil and why the sauce is called comeback sauce, so thought I would add it to our collection.
