Filling:
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 T. flour
1 c. sour cream
1 egg well beaten
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. lemon juice
4 c. fresh pears sliced
1 9" unbaked pie crust
Topping:
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/3 c. flour
1/3 c. softened butter

Directions:

Filling:
Mix together sugar and flour. Add sour cream, egg, vanilla & salt. Beat until smooth. Stir in pears and lemon juice. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 450 for 15 minutes. Reduce temp to 325 bake for another 30 minutes.
Topping:
Mix all ingredients together. Spread evenly over pie. Return to 325 oven for another 20 minutes.
