1 pie crust (frozen or homemade)
4 oz. semi sweet chocolate chips
2 T. melted butter
3 eggs
1 cup karo syrup lite
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups pecans halves and some whole ones for the top

Directions:

º350 oven please

Melt chocolate and butter, let cool slightly. Beat eggs then add sugar, karo,chocolate, butter and vanilla. Stir until well blended. Mix in pecan halves. Set pie crust on heavy baking sheet&pour in filling.

Use whole pecans for decoration on top of pie

Bake for 50-55 minutes until knife inserted midway of
center comes out clean.

Cool pie on wire rack before cutting.

**Serve with warm vanilla ice cream or praline ice cream**
