1 c granulated sugar 1/2 c firmly packed brown sugar 3 qts popped corn 1/4 c hot water 1 pkg shelled peanuts
Roast peanuts. Heat granulated sugar in sauce pan stirring constantly, until golden brown. Add hot water carefully to avoid splattering. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Add brown sugar & cook to 238º (soft ball stage) Mix peanuts & popcorn, salt lightly. Pour cooked mixture over this & stir until well coated. Serve hot or shaped into balls.
