1 box Uncle Ben's Wild Rice
1 stick of butter
1 can French Onion Soup
1 Soup can of water
1/2 c. pecans
1 can sliced mushrooms (drained)
1 can of sliced water chestnuts (drained)

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in a sauce pan. Add Wild Rice mix with seasonings, soup, and water. Simmer a few minutes. Add mushrooms and water chestnuts; mix. Put in a greased casserole dish. Bake for 30 min. at 350. Put pecans on top and continue baking for an additional 15 min.

I got this recipe from one of Matt's cousins on the East Coast - I absolutely love it. I leave out the mushrooms because I don't like them :-)
