3/4 c. butter
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
3 egg whites
1 c. peach preserves
3 egg yolks
2 c. flour
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and salt. Add sugar, slowly beating constantly. Stir in egg yolks. Stir soda into buttermilk. Add buttermilk mixture and flour alternating, ending with flour. Fold in peach preserves and beaten egg whites. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes.

Frosting
Mix and cook 2 c. sugar and 1 c. milk until until hard stage. Add 1 c. coconut, 1 c. nuts, 1 ground orange ( drained ) 1 cup drained crushed pineapple. Cook a few minutes and beat until creamy.
