4 cups water
2 - 6 oz envelopes of diced chicken
4 cups instant rice (such as Minute Rice)
2 tsp dried chopped onions
Seasoning to taste (recommended):
Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Celery Salt

Optional:
1/4 cup sliced toasted almonds or pine nuts
1/4 cup dried cranberries

Directions:
Directions:
At home, mix rice, dried onions, nuts & fruit, and seasonings in zip top bag.

In camp, boil water, add chicken and rice mixture. Cover and remove from heat. Let sit for 10 minutes. Mix and serve.
