1 cup water
2 packets instant oatmeal - pick your favorite flavor
2 Tbsp powdered milk
2 Tbsp dried fruit - such as apples, peaches, raisins, or cranberries (if desired)
2 Tbsp nuts - such as sliced almonds, walnuts, or pecans (if desired)

Directions:

At home: add oatmeal, powdered milk, and dried fruit & nuts (if desired) into a quart size freezer bag.

In camp: boil water, add 1 cup of water to oatmeal. Stir to combine and then cover in bowl. Allow to sit for 5 minutes before eating.
