"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

2 tbsp. corn starch
1 3/4 c. beef stock
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 lb. sirloin steak, cut into thin strips
4 c. fresh broccoli
Hot cooked rice

Directions:
Directions:
Stir the cornstarch, stock, soy sauce, brown sugar, and garlic powder in a small bowl until smooth. Set aside. Slice beef into thin strips. Stir-fry the beef in a 10-in skillet over med-high heat until well-browned. Add broccoli to mixture and cook for one minute (I cooked the broccoli before I added it so it wasn't really crunchy.) Stir in the cornstarch mixture and cook until it boils and thickens.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I cooked the beef with onions. It's good with mixed veggies too.
