1-20 oz. can of crushed pineapple in heavy syrup
1-21 oz. can of cherry pie filling
1-pkg. of yellow cake mix (for 2 layer cake)
1 c. pecans, chopped
1-stick butter

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º. Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan. Spread the pineapple with its syrup evenly in the pan and spoon the pie filling over it evenly. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the other ingredients, then sprinkle the top with the chopped pecans. Cut the chilled butter into thin slices and place evenly on the nuts. Bake 50 minutes or until golden brown.

This is an easy recipe to make quickly and easy to serve. I serve it with whipped cream or ice cream.One of my children's favorite deserts when they came in from school. Also a great desert for pot luck dinners.
