1 cup long grain rice
oil
onion
1 small can tomato sauce
water

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oil in pan. Add rice and chopped onion. Stir constantly until rice is toasted. Run water until hot. Add tomato sauce and about 2 cups of water. Add salt, pepper, and garlic salt. Let it come to a good boil. Cover and lower flame to low. Simmer for 40 minutes.

The key to good rice is to toast it well and use very hot water. For added flavor, add chicken broth like Grandma Cruz!
