500 g flour
300 g butter
250 g pistachio(can be replaced by Almonds or
walnuts
4 eggs
1 kg sugar
80 g yoghourt
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp honey
250 mm water

Directions:
Directions:
1. Sift the flour on a working surface.
2. Add eggs, yoghourt, 2 cups of water, melted butter and ground nuts. Mix to a smooth dough.
3. Divide the dough into 20 equal pieces and roll to 1 mm thickness. 4. Place a layer of dough on a greased deep based baking tray. Spread some of the pistachios over. Continue to make layers in this way, ending with layers of dough.Preheat the oven to 180ºC. 5. Cut in 2 to 4 cm rectangles and bake for 30 mins. 6. Cook the sugar with water until sugar has dissolved. Add lemon juice & honey. 7. Leave in a cool place. 8. Pour the syrup over the lukewarm baklava and leave for one hour in a cool place.
