1 c. shortening
4 oz. unsweetened chocolate squares
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. nutmeats

Directions:
Directions:
Melt chocolate and shortening in double boiler. Cool.
Beat eggs until light - add sugar then the cooled shortening mix. Blend - Add flour and nuts.
Bake at 350 for 30 - 35 minutes.
