1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. shortening
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour

1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and shortening. Add eggs.
Mix in dry ingredients.
Refrigerate dough overnight. Roll out thin. Cut into shapes.
Sprinkle with sugar.

Bake at 375º for 8 - 10 minutes.
