Cook until tender:
2 cups diced potatoes
½ C diced celery
1 ½ tsp salt
½ C carrots, diced or shreds
¼ C diced onion
Pepper to taste
2 C water
Do NOT drain water

Directions:
Directions:
In another pot, make white sauce:
¼ C margarine
¼ C flour
2 C milk
1 C diced ham, optional
Whisk first 3 ingredients until smooth, stir in 1 can cheddar cheese soup and 1 C diced ham, if desired. Combine all; if soup too thick, add warm milk.

I double this recipe.
