1/2 c. shortening or butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. flour (sifted)
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 pkg. chocolate chips
1/2 c. nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together first five ingredients. Sift together flour, salt and soda. Add sifted ingredients to creamed ingredients. Then add chocolate chips and nuts. Drop onto baking pan. Bake at 375º for 12-15 minutes.
