1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 egg whites
3 T. water
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Put altogether in double boiler top. Heat water in double boiler bottom. Remove from fire when water boils. Put on top of double boiler and beat at high speed for 4 minutes.
