6 apples
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
2 T. flour
Topping:
1 yellow cake mix
1/4-1/2 cube margarine/butter

Vanilla sauce:
1 small package vanilla instant pudding
1 small carton whipping cream (1/2 pint)

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and cut apples into wedges. Mix salt, sugar, and flour together and then combine with apples. Place in well-greased pan. Mix cake mix and margarine till crumbly. Put on top of apples and bake at 375º for 40 minutes.
Vanilla Sauce:
Mix pudding according to package directions and set in fridge. Whip cream and mix with set pudding. Bring in small bowl to put on cake at serving time.
