2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1 Tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 3 medium)
6 Tbsp butter or margarine,melted
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup semi-sweet mini chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375. Grease 6 (3 1/2-inch) LARGE muffin cups. Combine dry ingredients in large bowl. Combine bananas, milk, butter, eggs and vanilla in a small bowl until blended; stir into flour just until moistened. Fold in chocolate chips. Spoon into muffin cups. They will be full.
Bake 35 to 30 minutes, or until a wooden pick comes out clean. Cool in pan 5 minutes, Remove from pan. Cool on wire rack.
