4 cups hot cooked rice
12 oz. smoked country-style pork link sausage
1 large onion/sliced
1 large green pepper/cut in 1" pieces
1 cup sliced celery cut in 1" pieces
1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
1 can (8 oz) pineapple chunks (unsweetened juice)
1/4 teaspoon each of garlic powder and pepper
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch

****/Easy Entire meal can be ready in about 20 minutes. Be sure to put rice on to cook first so it will be ready when sasuage and veggies are done..

While rice is cooking,(be sure to add salt to rice water). Cook sausage ring in 1/2 cup water about 5 minutes. Remove from water and slice in 1/2 inch slices. Combine sausage, sliced onion, green pepper and celery in large skillet. Cook until vegetables are tender crisp. Add tomatoes,beef broth and pineapple (drain and reserve juice), add seasonings. Blend cornstarch with pineapple juice (use a whisk to blend well). Add to veggies and sasuage. Cook, stirring, until liquid is clear and thickened-about 2 minutes. Serve over beds of hot rice. º
