1 cup brown sugar
1 cup sugar
1 cup peanuts
1 cup shortening
2 eggs
3 cups oatmeal
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda in 1 tbsp of water

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together shortening and sugars. Mix in remaining ingredients and drop by spoonfulls onto baking sheet. Use a fork to make a plus sign on cookies. Bake in oven at 350 degrees until cookies are golden brown.
