Drain old cuc's and pour on fresh cold water. Let stand overnight. Drain and pour this brine over them:
Make a syrup of:
2 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
3 drops oil of cinnamon
3 drops oil of cloves
Directions:
Directions:
Heat this syrup to boiling and pour over cuc's and let stand a few days in refrigerator. (Cut cukes in chunks if too large.)
