1/2 c. butter,
1 c. sugar,
2 eggs,
2 c. 100% bran,
3 c. flour,
4 tsp. baking powder,
1 tsp. salt,
1 tsp. baking soda,
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves,
2 c. chopped nuts,
2 c. applesauce

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar well. Add egg and bran. Sift dry ingredients. Add nuts with flour mixture. Add flour mixture alternately with applesauce. Pour into greased 9 inch loaf pan. Bake at 375 for 1 hour. Cool, slice, and spread with cream cheese.
