1 med. onion, chopped
2 tbsp. butter
1 qt. canned tomatoes or 2 (14 1/2 oz.) canned diced tomatoes
2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans condensed tomato soup, undiluted
1 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 to 1 tsp. dried basil
1/2 to 1 tsp. paprika
1/8 to 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 (8 oz.) pkg.cream cheese, cubed

Directions:
Directions:
In saucepan, saute onion in butter till tender. Stir in tomatoes, soup, milk, sugar, basil, paprika, and garlic powder. Bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in cream cheese until melted.
